Snow, here, is at your fingertips, or rather within skiing distance: in fact, the facility will please ski-in-ski-out enthusiasts since it is located directly on the slopes, which can be conveniently accessed via the Hochpustertaler Bergbahnen cable cars, operating from December 5, 2020 to April 5, 2021.
The ski area is small but very well equipped, structured to eliminate queuing and waiting. It offers enthusiasts 22.5 km of excellently groomed slopes, most of them medium difficulty (blue and red), equipped with modern, fast lifts and with a marked area for children: a ski school with Bobo-Miniclub is also available, with entertainment and activities designed to keep the little ones entertained in the snow.
In addition, for children up to 6 years old, use of the area’s lifts is free, while children between 6 and 18 years old can get a 50 percent discount on the price of a ski pass. In contrast, the Snowpark, located at 2,100 m, promises snowboarders and freeskiers, beginners or experts, a guaranteed fun zone with daily maintenance, perfect and guaranteed snow, and a chillout zone. Restaurants in the area are also rationally organized to allow snacks and lunches without queues or overcrowding.

Little ones, ages 3 and up, can find a haven here to play and put their imaginations to use by participating in different types of creative workshops, which are always original and stimulating. Everything is taken care of down to the last detail by the highly qualified staff, who also speak Italian.
For sports-minded children, the “Wintersportschule Hochpustertal” ski school offers ski, snowboard and cross-country courses designed especially for them. Older teens, on the other hand, can be found in the Teenie Club 12+ created for teens who like to entertain themselves at all hours of the day on the wave of wifi, which is present in all areas of the hotel.
A 3,000-square-meter spa at the Sporthotel Sillian
There is no shortage of activities designed for them under the Action&Fun banner. After a day spent in the snow, enjoying the sun and skiing, once back at the hotel, you can immerse yourself in the warmth of the wonderful 3,000-square-meter spa. In addition to a large indoor pool and a heated outdoor pool with a whirlpool area, there is another pool set aside for children, complete with a slide for them to play jump in the water just outside the tunnel.
Saunas and steam baths of different types characterize the wellness area: here you can relax and rejuvenate even while simply lying on Tyrolean herbs, surrounded by the scent of aromatic essences.
The spacious relaxation oasis is equipped with heated water beds where everyone can take time for themselves, including experience showers, salt caves, Kneipp pool. The latter, in particular, is a natural, vegan, 100% cruelty free cosmetic line created, developed and produced consciously by Tyrolean pharmacist Lukas Schultz with zero-kilometer raw materials, harnessing alpine herbs, beneficial plants from the Alps and purest rock crystal water.
In addition to the classic alpine-style rooms, the family resort also offers a choice of one of the luxurious Premium Suites de Luxe, with a warm and contemporary design, all featuring an intimate private spa area with a panoramic Finnish sauna, overlooking the snowy valley, or an infrared cabin for those who need to relieve muscle tension in the spine or want to rejuvenate after athletic exertion.
Every day for breakfast, croissants, cakes and cookies are baked in the house with wholesome ingredients sourced exclusively from the area and Tyrol. Milk, cheeses, and sausages come from East Tyrol farms, vitamin-packed juices are prepared instantly, and the choice of muesli becomes really difficult in the face of all the varieties designed to please young and old alike.
The bread corner features different varieties, from black bread with rye flour to bread with cumin. The afternoon snack buffet, set from 1 to 4 p.m., includes soups, salads and excellent desserts. In the evening, however, the gourmet dinner offers traditional regional cuisine. The wine list, which includes Austrian and Italian offerings, is also interesting. Special gluten-free, lactose-free, vegan and vegetarian menus are also prepared upon request to accommodate the needs of all customers.
