BBQ Expo 2025 is back! The second edition of the great event dedicated to barbecue and outdoor cooking enthusiasts will take place in Brescia from March 29 to April 1 and promises to be a must-attend event for all barbecue lovers, with 300 brands represented, including as many as 60 from abroad. The barbecue market in Italy hit 118 million euros in 2024, with annual growth projections of 4.69 percent to reach 150 million euros in 2029, making this event an unmissable opportunity for industry professionals. The event will be divided into four thematic sections-Devices, Fuels, Meats and Food&Co, allowing all aspects of outdoor cooking to be explored.
BBQ Expo 2025: live events and barbecue showcooking
Not to be missed is the program packed with 80 live events, including more than 14 showcooking events and about 30 master classes catering to both novices and professionals. Some of the most interesting events include “The Real Mexican Tacos,” “B.O.B. One of the most anticipated highlights of the event will be the BBQ Expo Master’s Challenge, a competition in which 30 teams will compete for the title in several categories, including chicken, pork ribs and brisket. This is not just a competition, but an event that is part of the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) circuit, an opportunity not to be missed for those who love barbecue.
The show will also offer space for quality beers , thanks to the presence of producers and craft brewers and distilleries, whose research
in the field of mixology will add a unique dimension, creating a dialogue between cuisine and barbecue.
New to this second edition is pizza, an authentic icon of Italian cuisine. Among the exhibitors, leading manufacturers of professional equipment and pizza ovens will present the latest technological innovations, along with high-quality flours, essential for making fragrant doughs and leavened products. Representing this world will be Michela Carbone, world champion 2025, who will illustrate in a masterclass, how to make “Pizza at home, like in a pizzeria” and amaze her guests with true Neapolitan pizza.
Four days among flames and grills, where it will be possible to meet nationally renowned Pit Masters, such as Pit Master and physicist Andrea Marino and the “King of the Grid” Luca Bini.
Among the appointments not to be missed, on Monday, March 31, the BBQ Expo Arena (4 p.m.) will host “How to manage BBQ successfully in contemporary catering!” with Fabrizio Nonis – El Bekér, well-known producer, journalist and TV personality, and Giacomo Pini, international catering marketing consultant. The theme of the meeting, moderated by journalist Lorenza Dalla Pozza, will be the winning model for sustainable and competitive catering, including scenarios, opportunities and business management.
