The Grotto and mature thermal mud: an elixir of beauty and health

The natural thermal cave, which Giuseppe Verdi called “the eighth wonder of the world,” extends more than two hundred meters underground and is divided into three environments: Paradise, Purgatory and Hell, with temperatures ranging from 28° to 34°C and 98% humidity, which creates a real thermal, healthful and beneficial steam. In addition to water and steam, among the most precious gems of the Grotto is the thermal mud, an elixir of health that is obtained by mixingclays with the precious waters of the hot springs over a period of at least six months and is applied locally at a temperature of 47°C. It is a true source of well-being, rich in essential minerals and nutrients that give the skin an immediate radiant appearance. But the benefits don’t stop there: this valuable natural product has the power to reduce inflammation in the body, soothe muscle tension and relieve stress.

In a hectic and chaotic world, Grotta Giusti offers an oasis of peace and tranquility where guests can reconnect with themselves and the surrounding nature. With its ancient thermal waters, powerful thermal mud and thousand-year-old thermal grotto, this resort offers not only a moment of relaxation, but a true regenerative experience. Even in just two days!

Those who choose Italian Hospitality Collection live an authentic Italian hospitality experience made of warmth, generosity and passion. Each guest feels they are at the center of our world, surrounded by attention and immersed in the beauty of art and nature. In Tuscany, the three resorts in our collection – Fonteverde, Bagni di Pisa, Grotta Giusti – were born as noble spa residences. They are jewels of history and architecture built on natural springs, in some of the most enchanting areas of the region such as the Val d’Orcia, the hills that embrace Pisa and the Valdinievole. In Sardinia, Chia Laguna is nestled in the splendor of one of the most spectacular stretches of coastline, in front of beaches, headlands, coastal lagoons and dunes overlooking the turquoise sea. In the Aosta Valley, in Courmayeur, Le Massif is an innovative and exclusive project for those who love charming hotellerie. Le Massif proposes a new hospitality concept where the warmth of Italian hospitality is captured by two unsurpassed locations: the Le Massif hotel, just a breath away from the cable car and fashion boutiques, and the La Loge du Massif chalet, in the heart of the ski slopes. www.italianhospitalitycollection.com
