Located in the Valle d’Aosta valley of Cogne, the only Italian mountain destination included in the 2019 Sustainable Top 100 Destinations Awards, theEco Wellness Hotel Notre Maison is a true eco-sustainable resort in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park. The hotel is the first 100% environmentally sustainable hospitality project in northwest Italy, thanks to the installation of a biomass cogeneration plant applied to an accommodation facility.
Guests are given the opportunity to reach the facility, move around, have fun, and relax in full respect of the surrounding environment.
In fact, special different formulas, designed in synergy between the property and its business partners, make it possible to reach the hotel with a high-end electric car from Turin in an hour and a half drive independently and be able to use it for the duration of the stay.
Cars can be picked up at the Turin Porta Susa train station or at Turin Caselle Airport. The service, subject to availability, allows you to reach the Eco Wellness Hotel Notre Maison in a totally eco-sustainable way and be able to move around discovering the treasures of the Aosta Valley silently and respecting the environment.
The resort also has a spa with dedicated staff with an indoor pool and water heated to 35°, waterfalls and countercurrent swimming, two whirlpools, two saunas, steam room and solar shower.
The massage center, on the other hand, features 3 private cabins: zero-mile products are preferred for treatments, allowing guests to benefit from the full potential of alpine herbs.
In addition, in the outdoor part of the hotel is a suggestive heated alpine pond, a true open-air oasis where you can relax among trails, treatments and massages that has earned the Italian Pool Award 2017 for integration with the environment, combined with thoughtful design and a focus on the energy saving, being heated through the excess energy production of the cogeneration plant.
