Itwill be called
Snow Dream Experience
, and it is the idea of theHotel Lac Salin SPA & Mountain Resort in Livigno. There will be two snow chalets, and they will invite you to savor the winter atmosphere. White rooms that will become a privileged and original retreat for those who want to experience an alternative night.
The inspiration comes from the 2026 Olympics: some competitions will be held in Livigno, hence the names chosen for the lodges. Livigno Olympic 2026 will feature Olympic-related sculptures inside, such as the brazier, Olympic hoops, and torches, while the second, called History of Skiing, will present everything related to the history of the sport.
Snow chalet in Livigno
The interiors of these original and striking chalets were created by local artist Vania Cusini. If the temperature inside is cold, bordering on freezing, the atmosphere of the room will instead be warm, cozy and charming: warm blankets will invite you to lie on the white beds. The slogan created, Snow Dream Experience, combines snow with dreams for a truly unique experience.
In the warm thermal sleeping bags, sleep will become restorative: wrapped in its embrace, the night in the snow will be a pause where to slow down the rhythms of everyday life to freeze, in all senses, the thoughts, the everydayness, the repetitiveness of gestures and habits.
The chalets, starting December 18, 2019, the date set for their inauguration, will rise on the snowy slope overlooking the Hotel Lac Salin SPA & Mountain Resort and its Mandira SPA, the large wellness area with a panoramic pool, saunas, steam bath and relaxation rooms.
Wellness vacation in the snow
The Snow Dream Experience will begin with a moonlit snowshoe hi ke through the snow to a typical alpine hut, Tea Da Cip Ciop, to enjoy a dinner of Valtellina cuisine.
In the evening, before settling into your thermal sleeping bag, you will warm up with forest herbal teas, while in the morning you will wake up with a cup of hot coffee served while still in bed. Breakfast with forest products will be followed by an Alpine Awakening massage in the Mandira SPA, 1,200 square meters of wellness, including water paths and natural treatments.
