“Val Gardena SuperPremière”: 4 nights for the price of three. From December 5 to 21,Hotel Tyrol in Selva, Val Gardena, invites guests to thrill at the Christmas markets, relax in the cozy spa and ski on the beautiful slopes that start right behind the hotel.

Hotel Tyrol Selva di Val Gardena

The hotel is located 30 meters from the Nives ski lift: in a moment you are on the slopes of Val Gardena, in front of the Dolomite scenery of Sassolungo and Sella.

Relaxation and well-being

After the first ski runs of the season, guests can relax in the indoor pool, which is always heated to 30° with a marble slab floor and surrounded by stucco and rock panels and ceilings furrowed with antique solid wood beams.

Or, for those who want to prolong the snowy atmosphere, they can take a warm bath outside amidst the snow covering the garden: a whirlpool pampers guests who want to breathe in the crisp alpine air.

Next to the hot tub, there is also a romantic, very hot, wooden sauna called the “cabin sauna”-the secret? After the sauna, a cool shower, a walk in the garden to cool the body and a relaxing dip in the hot tub. At night, in winter, the spectacle of the starry sky is incredible.

The wellness area also has an aromatic sauna, made entirely of scented wood, reaches high temperatures over 60° while still maintaining a relatively low humidity of 35 percent.

In addition to this, a sauna stube, specially designed to stimulate relaxation of the body and a natural cleansing of the skin, through a physiotherapeutic dry bath heated around 90 degrees and humidity controlled; Turkish bath; salt tub for a warm restorative bath; and relaxation room.

Hotel Tyrol’s treatments

In the Thermo Spa, one can experience countless varieties of baths and massages for the body, energetic and rejuvenating. The special tub allows people to try different types of baths. Immersed and pampered in a comfortable bed, heated to body temperature, it almost feels like floating weightless: body and psyche are in turn pampered.

Pampering for the palate

At the stove of the restaurant is chef Alessandro Martellini, a Tuscan from Orbetello, who gives a personal touch to the dishes served in the pleasant dining room of the Tyrol hotel restaurant; an excellent interpreter of local gastronomy and traditions, with an original accent. Apart from the fish, which comes very fresh from the Tuscan and Adriatic seas, the products are mostly local.

Hotel Tyrol’s wine cellar is stocked with quality wines, especially here you can discover the aromas of wines from South Tyrol and noble Tuscany, from opulent Cabernet Sauvignon to elegant Pinot Noir, from buttery Chardonnay to spicy Syrah not to forget the velvety Gewürztraminer.

Don’t miss Suinsom Restaurant , a gourmet place to sample Chef Martellini’s original dishes in an exclusive setting, furnished with great style and elegance.

Winter in Val Gardena

Val Gardena is a favorite destination for skiers. One of Hotel Tyrol’s strengths is precisely its proximity to the ski lift: just a few meters separate it from the hotel’s skiroom. In less than a minute you are literally on track. Thanks to its connection to Dolomiti Superski-the world’s largest ski carousel-and the nearby Alpe di Siusi, it is an eldorado for winter sports enthusiasts.

Val Gardena winter skiing

This is where the famous Sellaronda, a dream of ski lovers, begins. Another convenience is the purchase of the ski pass directly at the hotel and the booking of ski courses at subsidized prices.

In addition to skiing, you can try snowshoeing: with experienced mountain guides, guests at Hotel Tyrol can explore the picturesque winter scenery or follow the fresh tracks of a deer or roe deer.

Val Gardena winter

The magical Vallunga in Selva Gardena offers cross-country skiers a wonderful circuit surrounded by an unparalleled Dolomite panorama. 12 km of trails drawn among forests, hills and snow-covered meadows to be fully experienced while practicing this ancient, fun and challenging sport.

The more athletically inclined can try rock climbing on ice walls and icefalls, a thrilling and immersive experience.

Chianciano spa, multi-sensory experiences and total regeneration Nestled among the rolling hills of Montepulciano, in the heart of the Sienese lands, in a Tuscany prodigal of scents and flavors, the history of Chianciano and its waters is lost in the centuries. If in fact the Etruscans and the Romans already, as we know for a fact, appreciated the beneficial virtues of these mineral waters, the echo of history even takes us all the way back to Eneolithic times (a plunge into prehistoric times, the Copper Age) where our ancestors seem to have built numerous settlements in the Chianciano area precisely because of these "miraculous" springs. The offer of Chianciano, on the other hand, is a heritage recognized even in the times closest to us, not only for the rich offerings of food and wine and art, but also (or perhaps especially) for the presence of those Spa which, born in 1915, have led this small town to be one of the most famous spa and resort resorts in Italy.
