The Eden Spa’s START UP Treatment
The latest addition to the spa’s already rich offering is the “START UP” treatment-we tried it for you in advance, and we were enchanted. This is an elaborate ritual to achieve a draining, detoxifying and reducing effect, developed withproducts from the MEI – Migliori Erbe Italiane line, a Made in Italy excellence, established in 1988, that selects wild plants rich in active ingredients in Italy and around the world.
Ideal for those suffering from capillary fragility, it can be Applied all over the body or to the specific areas you want to treat; the experts’ advice is to start with three sessions per week to get maximum results, and then go slowly tapering down to a weekly session.
After seating you in one of the private suites, The Eden Spa ‘s experienced professionals begin the “START UP” treatment: the first phase involves a regenerating scrub, based on a signature MEI compound containing clay and horsetail. The scent is intoxicating, and the feeling of freshness is immediate.
Once the body is prepared, we move on to the heart of the treatment, theherbal mixture “START UP”: it is a compound based on clay and micronized seaweed, activated by turmeric and ginger macerate and enriched with 8 essential oils. The paste is smeared all over the body or area to be treated, and has a different effect depending on the person. You may feel cold or hot, or a mix of both, depending on your body’s needs.
At this point you will be wrapped in plastic wrap and allowed torest for about twenty minutes to effectively stimulate microcirculation and tissue metabolism.
Once the treatment time has passed, it is time to rinse the mud off the body, an operation that itself becomes a pampering thanks to the private bath in each suite and MEI’s signature products. Coming out of the wash, you will immediately feel soft and supple skin. Once dry, you return to the couch for the last step of treatment, theapplication of a fresh vegetable gel with wild juniper, fennel and sweet orange, a final pampering that leaves your skin glowing and moisturized, and envelops you in an intense scent that only all-natural products can deliver.
As a very last step, for greater enhancement of the draining effect of the treatment, a MEI detox infusion of esquiset, birch, asparagus and a mix of mineralizing botanicals is offered at the end of the ritual.
