The TRAVEL & SPA AWARDS 2026 have extended the deadline for submitting nominations to October 10. This decision was made following the numerous requests received in recent weeks from properties, destinations, and industry operators interested in participating in the second edition of the Awards.

A further window, therefore, to nominate hotels, resorts, spas, destinations, and projects that interpret contemporary hospitality through quality, vision, innovation, and attention to the guest experience.

Not a simple nomination, but entry into a selection process that will lead to the definition of the 2026 Hall of Fame.

The Road to 2026 enters its decisive phase

The Awards journey stems from observation and scouting activities that take place throughout the entire year.

The Technical Committee monitors hospitality and wellness entities and analyzes nominations according to the criteria defined by the Manifesto of the TRAVEL & SPA AWARDS, which focuses not only on the aesthetics of a property, but on the quality of the experience, vision, innovation, service, and the impact of hospitality on the local area.

It is a philosophy that starts from a precise principle: excellence cannot merely be declared; it must be demonstrated.

It is precisely on this premise that the Awards have built their selection system, distinguishing themselves with a model that excludes pay-to-play logic: the nomination and any subsequent award are linked to merit and the successful completion of the evaluation process, not the purchase of the prize.

From nominations to the Black Gold Monolith

The extension to October 10 therefore represents one of the last opportunities to enter the selection process for the 2026 edition.

Following the analysis and selection phase, the journey will continue with final evaluations and Jury sessions, leading to the definition of the award winners who will be celebrated during the Gala evening.

Among the most recognizable symbols of the Awards is the Black Gold Monolith, the trophy that materially represents the achievement of one of the standards of excellence identified by the Awards.

The journey will culminate on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, in Milan, at the Excelsior Hotel Gallia, for a Gala evening built around the protagonists of high-profile hospitality.

A strictly invitation-only event, designed to bring together in one place institutional representatives, entrepreneurs, decision-makers, hotel industry leaders, hotel and resort directors, stakeholders, and media representatives.

The second edition of the Awards thus presents itself as a moment where the celebration of merit meets networking and institutional relations, with Milan once again at the center of the international hospitality scene.

A vocation already encapsulated in the philosophy of the Awards: to make the city the meeting point between the great Italian heritage of hospitality and the new international routes of luxury travel and wellness.

The TRAVEL & SPA AWARDS project was born from the editorial experience of TRAVEL & SPA Magazine and brings the culture of specialized journalism into the world of awards: observation, research, selection, and critical capacity.

For this reason, the recognition does not aim to limit itself to celebrating what is already established.

The goal is to identify and showcase those entities that are contributing to defining the new face of hospitality, from great international icons to projects capable of introducing new models of experience, well-being, sustainability, and service.
