Incredible [dropcap type=”default”]views[/dropcap], breathtaking cliffs, black earth, transparent waters: on theisland of Vulcano, the wild pearl of the beautiful Aeolian Islands, wellness lovers can find wellness that literally springs from the center of the earth.

A true open-air spa where the volcano continues to bestow mind-blowing properties on its land and waters.

It’s no surprise that here is the realm of thalassotherapy, which harnesses the power of the elements of the sea as a source of health and beauty: and so on to Mediterranean plant wraps, relaxing baths, and massages with salts, seaweed, and clays for firmer, more radiant skin. Among the most notable favors of this technique are those on individuals with stress, circulatory and joint problems, arthritis and rheumatism, dermatitis, and respiratory problems.

The island is composed of as many as five craters that are now extinct, and although they have ended their eruptive activity, they leave behind valuable residues for human well-being: in particular, the sulfur mud, a true natural spa consisting of a pond that bubbles up from underground at a constant temperature of 34°.The properties of the mud are indicated to treat dermatitis and bone or respiratory diseases, as well as being a miraculous treatment for the skin.

Molso very special is the experience you have at the Hot Water Beach, just in front of the mud pool: it is a real marine whirlpool, because the submerged fumaroles allow the water to remain at a high temperature at all times, as well as creating a real boiling of the sea due to the gases escaping from the seabed. And capturing this beneficial essence of the island is taken care of by facilities such as the Therasia Resort Sea & SPA, an oasis where wilderness meets the soft, elegant lines of the facility, distinguished by an arabesque style and surrounded by the dense smell of the sea and the delicate scent of wildflowers.

Vulcan’s most famous spa

The infinity pool promises days and nights of total relaxation, while the spa is among the most popular in the archipelago: rejuvenation and pleasure are the watchwords at the facility, which offers a wide range of facial and body treatments, including hydrotherapy, whirlpool, emotional shower, and the most advanced massage techniques with alchemical aromas and fragrant oils, to banish stress and fatigue

Capriccioli, the Emerald Coast within everyone's reach Thename Costa Smeralda evokes one of the most beautiful areas of Sardinia, but also a type of luxury vacation. This is true, but only in part: even on the Emerald Coast, in fact, it is possible to find resorts within everyone's reach where one can spend wonderful days at the sea surrounded by a panorama that is nothing short of breathtaking.Such is the case with Capriccioli, a series of fine sandy beaches in a setting of granite cliffs, an enchanting strip of land covered with Mediterranean vegetation, jutting out into the sea facing the southern part of the Costa Smeralda and located just a few kilometers from Arzachena. The wild charm of the place combines with the color of the deep blue sea, and together they create an irresistible mix suitable for every need.
